Better than LAST Monday!

AFI and NST are all just peachy. He is doing fine.

I am having some lower back pain and discovered in that situation that the delivery beds in the hospital are really NOT COMFY!!!!!! I don't know how I am going to go about having a baby in a bed that feels like laying on cement.

So its down to the last few days, 8.5 days left. At the most. Maybe less. Oh I hope its less.

But right now I am just tired and cranky and ouchy. Oh well. Soon it will be done, one way or another.

  1. You can try lying on your side in the bed, maybe that will help your back. Once you get going in labor, though, you probably won't notice the bed. You'll just notice the work of labor. We're all thinking about you, Jessie, and all of us are sending you energy!

  2. I do lay on my side, both of them. I flip flop all night long, each time I wake up. The back pain seems to only come when I am standing now. I guess I am lucky that it took this long to show, I hear some people get it from the start.

I just want this little guy to show up all on his own BEFORE they have to induce me. I really would like that. Each time I get one of those gnarly Braxton-Hicks contractions I keep hoping its the real thing, but it never is. I still have one week! Maybe he will get a move on!
